Warren Fire Department Called to Halligan Street

Three warren firefighters were called to 418 Halligan Street November 11th to extinguish a grass fire. It is thought a cigarette may have caused the fire.  Parts of two yards suffered some burning but no structures were damaged.

Fire Chief Howard Edwards told SRC that during the recent big fire in Monticello, the City of Warren sent six fire fighters and two fire engines to the assist.  The city's ladder truck was of major assistance in putting out the blaze.  The chief stated that personnel remained at the Warren Station at all times to respond to any local call.
