The Warren City Council has voted six to zero to purchase a new garbage truck and to borrow the funds to make the purchase. The Council Members agreed to borrow $136,190.00 from First State Bank at an interest rate of 3% for five years. Mayor Martin indicated the purchase was made to keep the Sanitation Department equipment up to date and to maintain a high level of service.
